Quartz clock movement secretly stopped repairing

The quartz clock movement often stops and leaves. It moves and leaves again. It stops after putting it back for a while. Sometimes it is caused by poor contact between the battery shrapnel and the movement circuit board. The circuit board of the quartz clock movement is connected by contact with the battery shrapnel. Due to moisture against the wall and oxidation of the contact point, over time, both methods will cause poor contact, causing the movement to be powered off and shut down. So I wanted to transform them and change the contact connection to welding connection, which will completely solve the problem of poor contact.

Specific methods: 1. Open the movement box and take out the circuit board of the movement. 2. Solder two leads on the "+" and "-" poles of the circuit board. 3. Renovation of the primary battery shrapnel: A. The two shrapnels are left one centimeter away from the part that contacts the battery, and the negative electrode is left two centimeters. Cut the rest away. B. Bend the positive electrode shrapnel at a 90-degree angle at one centimeter to snap into the movement box. C. The original right-angle bend of the negative electrode shrapnel remains and still snaps into the movement box as it is. 4. Drill a 2mm hole in the plastic plate between the movement box and the battery box to lead the negative electrode line from here. 5. Weld the two wires soldered on the movement circuit board to the positive and negative electrode shrapnel of the battery (note that the shrapnel should leave the movement box and weld it separately outside to avoid burning the movement box). 6. Replace the welded positive and negative electrode shrapnel back to its original position. After the changes, the movement was running normally and no secret stop occurred again.
